The company producing Henry Wintermans cigars was founded in 1904 and since then has been constantly working on expanding the range of products and improving the taste of every blend offered. 42 years after the company was founded it was taken over by British-American Tobacco, and several years later Colts and Old Port brands were added to the company's portfolio. Not so long ago the company that already has a pretty stable position in the market purchased a US-based CAO and Tobacofina-VanderElst cigar brand portfolio. One of the company's brands - Café Crème - is the best selling cigarillo in the world. Tobacco leaves used for the productions of this brand are imported from Colombia, Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Ecuador, Indonesia, Cuba and Italy. The cigars are made by a machine that can make up to 2,400 cigars a minute, each one checked for size, weight and diameter, as well as for tobacco density to make sure they all correspond to the highest standards set by the company's founders and maintained throughout over a century. Henri Wintermans cigars are shipped to over 100 countries of the world.
